Kevin Meaney: Guestbook

Dear Kevin

A real hoot listening to you yesterday, Tue, January 31st, on the Jay Thomas show.

That Jay Thomas is such a pussy, and sometimes claims to have done military service, whereas us real men served in Vietnam....LOL..or as the sniper you interviewed, and we can enjoy your humor with great mirth. Really funny stuff on the Jay Thomas show.

I suggest you use the new LOW CROTCH pants phenomena in your laugh routine. Talk about BIG PANTS...LOL

One reviewer said you could shoplift a frozen turkey and hide it as you left the store (I have known many middle class people to stuff groceries down their clothing, people who were not poor, but just wanted to shoplift food...LOL).

I think all of us Kevin Meaney fans should boycott the Jay Thomas show next Wednesday, as it seems as if you have been banned.

The funny thing is, Jay pays you guys in the Ha Ha seat peanuts, while he gambles away tens of thousand of dollars with his bookie.

Kevin, YOU ARE THE MAN, and Jay will never be as macho as you are (which is why he has banned you...LOL).

Thanks for the laughs. Roger in Danforth, Maine.

Kevin - I just got a card from your mom in response to my Xmas card and she told me of your dad's passing in March. We had the swimming pool store next to his "Remember Me" antique shop in Tarrytown and we loved him! He always left the big wagon wheel out front and we had to put it in our store overnight. We have many funny stories of John and I've been trading Xmas cards with your parents for many years. I just wanted to let you know - not only are we fans of yours but we have loving memories of John the "Big Wheel." We'll miss him too!

Kevin, I first saw you on HBO with your original special many years ago. Since then, I've been through some very difficult times and I wanted to tell you that your comedy has helped me when I've most felt like giving up on everything. I literally wore out the VHS tape I had made of your specials. It is so nice to finally find you on the Internet and to thank you for the profound difference you have made in my life.

September 28, 2011

My fiance and I recently saw you at the JCC in San Rafael and literally cannot stop talking about you! Your saying of "That's not right we're gonna lose the God danm house" has become our new saying. I have seen tons of comedians including Jerry Seinfeld and by far you were the BEST!! Keep up the wonderful work. We are hoping you will return to the Bay Area or even the JCC for New Years. We have been telling all our family and friends about you. Thanks for a wonderful evening. Oh I love your voice..what a great talent you've got! Amazing.

Hey Kevin, I caught your set at Comedy Day in SF. It was great to see you on stage, its been years since I've seen your act. My uncle is Mark Parenteau, fyi, whom you know, and I am also good friends with Deb and Will Durst. I was surprised to find out you have come out of the closet. I applaude you. (I guess I should state I am also gay.) My mom used to bartend at a place called Plum's in Worcester, she's also a big of fan of yours. So, just wanted to say, glad to hear you are happy, and most certainly glad you are still making people laugh. I will be looking for you the next time you are in SF. Peace and love,

Thanks for doing the "I don't care" bit on the Laff Boat last night! We really did use that song to battle our children's occassional normal whining. I have also used it at work. It's a huge stress reliever!

We feel fortunate to have met you in person, good luck and come back again soon!

Jerry Lang

July 23, 2011

Kevin,

It was so good to meet you on the Laff Boat last night. My wife, another couple and I had a blast. You were great and it was the kind of night I needed to unwind with laughter.

If you ever come through the area again I hope Scott let's me know. Come ride horses at our place too. I am Scott's friend Jerry and was with wife Nancy (tall blonde) and I'm known to most as Jerry the Beer Man. (MillerCoors) Thanks again Kevin and we hope to see you again down the road.

Kevin,

Lost 2lbs last week, down to 423 now. I introduced all my Buddys at eaters anon to you. The last 10 minutes we reserve to listen to your comedy. Since doing so, the group has lost 56lbs, that was an increase in weight loss of 17%. Laughing at your jokes might have something to do with it. I need to get the rest of the family to go to our meetings, now that you are involved indirectly it might be possible to convince them to go. Thanks for being so inspirational! Dave F.

Yo Kevin, what's up? Sorry the reunion never happened but there just wasn't enough interest. Maybe in 2014 for our 40th?! Donna and I completed our move to Georgia, just south of Atlanta. When are you going to be in this area? We'd love to bring some friends to see you!

Keven;
Just wanted to say my family is big pants people. No. We really are; combined weight of 4 people 1400+ pounds. We sit around laughing hysterically at your jokes while we enjoy family donut time. My mom tries to do we're going to lose the house routine while donut crumbs are being laughed out her mouth and her words are barely audible through her packed mouth. Never thought eating donuts could get better, but gasping for air at the same time makes the sugar taste sweeter.

I'm trying my best here on this computer to send a letter of thanks over to Kevin---I went to probably all your shows in the 80's- Boston.

I am such a 70's fossil- I just have a "bad time" on the computer- I never had to have computer skills- I was an RN- hands on.
But ...I've been down in the dumps lately - out of work because of sickness for almost 2 years.

I just found Kevin vid singing "my favorite things" I'm a showtune kinda gal!

I just have to say----when I'm in a funk--all I have to do is watch that---and everything is better....THANK YOU!!!!
was Sparky once alive? He looks kinda stiff,

Oh my gosh, You are so funny and great. Im a teacher of P.E. and sometimes I turn into you when I look at my kids and say in your voice, " What's wrong with you, thats not right, get over there and sit down." You should see their faces and how serious they get. I love you........

My wife and I saw your show in Raleigh 4/22/11 and laughed all evening. Your show was fantastic. I have followed your career since I say you on Carson and then the HBO specials. You are one of the great comics up there in there with Carol Bernetts crew (in my opinion). The best part of your programs is your clean and don't throw the F bomb. I thank you for that. Please keep on the circuit your the best and I will see you again. BTW MY WIFE AND I ARE 61 YO. I say that because your followers are young and old.
Thanks from Raleigh,

Tim & Donna Francis

March 17, 2011

Hey Kevin Meaney,

I'm a long time fan! I saw you perform live at Charlie Goodnight's in Raleigh in, like, 1992 or 1993. Kevin, I laughed so hard I almost required medical attention. I was the girl on your right, laughting. (That is meant to be a ridiculous statement as it is a ridiculous thing to say.)

So here's the deal, Kevin Meaney. I sent you a FaceBook friend request but I don't think you've have the opportunity to accept it. The problem with this is that while I can see your status updates on my wall, I cannot like them or otherwise respond. This is what sucky situations are made of. It sucks that I can't pipe in on FaceBook when one of my favorite comedians says something whack. Or otherwise non-whack.

You are totally on My Bucket List, Kevin. And you are in good company on that list. One of these days, I'll have the good sense to see you perform again.

Peace, Love & Kevin Meaney!

Kev,
It's a blurrrr, but are you from Ast-
oria? I think back and sorta remember
marching in Holy Name "parades" from
Ditmars Blvd to, was it St. Rita's???
That's the sister parish shtick,
brother. What a lunatic drunk my
Irish old man used to tie on wild
in the streets! ALMOST as INSANE as the Feast of San Genaro (sp?) in Williamsburg -- check it out, I
implore you. THIS is GENETIC IMP-
OVERISHMENT at its nadir -- around
400 or more I-tai's packing heat
carry this megaton street statue in sort of a "dance" not of this
planetary perspective. Hope they
have up-to-date brown scapulars to
keep Fadda O'Boners BROWNSTAR well
oiled, capish? Anyway, I'd like to
one day meet you. I'm as crazy as
you are, no lie. YOU have been the
bomb since like '82 or so -- LONG
MAY YOU RUN! Hey, how cum I can't
dig up the cult Sheldon Theater gig in Red Wing? Clue me in. All
my loving, johnnie fahy
